The usual price is the one each video games product displayed most often over six months, outliers excluded. The deal score compares today’s price with that usual price: a discount only counts if it is real, not relative to a list price. Read the full methodology and glossary →
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to buy a console or a game?
Games drop sharply three to six months after release, then during Black Friday and the sales. Consoles barely move outside bundles: watch bundles and limited editions instead, which are often out of stock.
How can I be notified when a console is back in stock?
Track the product on DeaLynx: availability is checked at every reading and an alert is sent as soon as the product becomes purchasable again at one of the tracked retailers.
Is a video game discount a real price drop?
Compare with the usual price over six months, not the launch price. A game sold at €39.99 for months and shown as “−43%” against €69.99 is not a deal: DeaLynx flags it.
