Privacy policy

This policy describes how DeaLynx processes your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Mathieu Marteau, publisher of DeaLynx (see Legal Notice). Contact: contact@mathieu-marteau.fr.

2. Data collected

• Account: email address, first name (optional), password (stored in hashed/encrypted form).
• Google login (if used): identifier, email and name provided by Google.
• Service usage: tracked products, alert thresholds, notification preferences.
• Contact (optional, for notifications): phone number, Discord webhook.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store any payment data.
• Technical data: connection logs and IP address, for security purposes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Provision of the service (account, price tracking, alerts) : performance of a contract.
• Sending chosen notifications (email, push, Discord…) : consent.
• Managing payments and subscriptions : performance of a contract / legal obligation.
• Security, fraud and abuse prevention : legitimate interest.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold. It may be processed by our technical sub-processors:

• Hostinger : hosting.
• Stripe : payment processing and subscription management.
• Emails sent from our own servers (with a backup relay) and notification services (push, Discord) depending on your choices.
• Audience measurement: Umami, hosted on our servers, with no cookie and no identifying data (IP address not kept). No transfer to third parties.

5. International transfers

Some sub-processors (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the EU. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses).

6. Data retention

• Account data: retained for the duration of use, then deleted upon account closure.
• Billing data: retained for the period required by accounting and tax obligations (up to 10 years).
• Technical logs: retained for a limited period for security purposes.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@mathieu-marteau.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) at cnil.fr.

8. Cookies

DeaLynx only uses cookies required for the service (session, referral) and cookie-free, non-identifying audience measurement (self-hosted Umami). No consent banner is therefore required. See our Cookie Policy.
