Why DeaLynx exists
It starts with a familiar annoyance: an impressive list price, a big “−40%”, and doubt. Was the product really worth that price last week? Comparison sites show today’s price, retailers show the price that suits them, and nobody answers the question that matters.
DeaLynx records prices every day, on Amazon and at the major French retailers, and computes for each product its usual price, the one it displayed most often over six months, discarding outlier readings. A discount only counts if it is real against that usual price. That is what the deal score measures.
Everything else follows: alerts that only fire when the price really drops, a readable history, the best time of the year to buy, and a page of the week’s real drops open to everyone.
